I have used some of my prettiest buttons, linen and some of my favourite scraps.
I have then tried to FM 'write' on the back of the pouches to ensure that the recipient remembers the occasion. Some of the writing is wobbly but it is getting a little better!
I hope that the folk that I swap with, will like them.
Please don't forget that the 'Let's Get Acquainted' Blog hop continues and the blogs to hop to for today are
Nik from Bold Goods
Alyssa from Pile O Fabric
I am now off to enjoy this wonderful sunshine! I hope that the sun is shining for you too.

They look fantastic, Di. Great swap items!
ReplyDeleteWonderfully hot here too! LOVE your coin purses, super gifts and the fmq writing is brill! Jxo
ReplyDeleteLove your little coin purses - so cute! I know this advice is a little late but for future reference when writing on fabric it really helps to stabilise your fabric by ironing it on to a little piece of freezer paper. This just helps you get better purchase on the fabric without the fabric moving with the nib of your pen, and of course you just pull the freezer paper away when your writing is done.
ReplyDeleteBut that trick doesn't work when you 'write' with the sewing machine! Brilliant - you must be pleased as I can see a fab improvement from your first try!
ReplyDeleteI'd be happy - buttons, daisies and orange! Could it get any better!?
I love the pouches - what a great idea!! Your FME writing looks fabulous!
ReplyDeleteThese are so treat! I bet they went down a storm!
